Growing together, safely
Beyond performance, we put people at the heart of our commitment. By investing in protective equipment and skills training, we empower our teams to grow safely, sustainably, and proudly.

The exoskeleton: enhancing our team’s well-being
Among the latest innovations tested in our workshops: a manual exoskeleton — lightweight, ergonomic, and protective.
Equipped with an electronically assisted glove connected to a battery worn on the back, the entire system weighs only 2 kg. A discreet cable runs along the arm, allowing full freedom of movement.
Once equipped, the glove takes over: the hand initiates the movement, and the exoskeleton applies the needed pressure — on foam for example. The result? Joint relief from wrist to elbow.
« The effect is immediate — I was able to work all week without fatigue or discomfort » says Sandrine.
A small control box, easily tucked into a pocket, allows the intensity to be adjusted in seconds.
For Sandrine and Xavier, there’s no going back « “We need to spread this technology across the company. It allows us to perform demanding tasks more safely and comfortably. »
This trial is part of a broader approach focused on prevention, ongoing training, and modernization of production tools.
For us, innovation is above all in the service of people.
A win-win partnership...
At SERENISEAT, recruiting new team members is a key strategic growth driver. Yet for technical roles like industrial stitching and trim work, trained profiles are hard to find — mainly because no initial training exists for these specialties.
We chose the latter: training our future team members ourselves.
A tailored training program with France Travail
This program is designed for people undergoing career changes or far from the job market, who are interested in learning a new trade.
Two paths are offered: Sewing Mechanic (industrial tailor) and Trim Technician
Guided by an experienced mentor within the company, trainees complete 400 hours of on-the-job training to:
Learn the basic technical skills
Understand the industry environment
Confirm their career goals
This period also allows the company to assess each candidate’s motivation and adaptability, while remaining under the supervision of France Travail.
A long-term job opportunity at stake
At the end of the 400 hours, candidates who have shown commitment are offered permanent positions. But that’s not all — thanks to a partnership with our OPCO, a supported professional training contract is then set up for 6 to 12 months
This contract allows them to:
Further develop job-specific skills
Reach the required levels of quality and speed
Earn a qualification recognized by the collective agreement
An external organization, funded by the OPCO, also steps in to create a skills framework and build a customized training program.

Testimonial from Delphine, mentor at SERENISEAT
Delphine has been working at SERENISEAT for 7 years. Trained as an upholstery decorator, she now manages trim work at the Rochefort workshop, where she trains new recruits.
What does your role as a mentor involve?
« “I introduce them to a job they don’t know about : aerospace trim work. I teach them everything — from vocabulary to technique. »
Training isn’t your original profession… Was it difficult?
« I was a little apprehensive at first, but I quickly got into it. I’m available, attentive, I demonstrate, I explain — and re-explain if needed. »
What qualities do you look for in a trainee?
« Motivation, of course — but also patience, attention to detail, and perseverance. Our clients have extremely high standards.»
